Do you have a passion for football and a background in journalism? If so, consider applying for a position here at All Out Blitz.
Ultimately, we hope to hire 32 contributors who will each cover an NFL team. We want AllOutBlitz.com to be the online source for football news, so the first responsibilities of the position are linking to news and updates from across the sports world. That means reading anything and everything you can on your team, but if you have the passion for football we're looking for, you probably do that already.
The next responsibilities with this job are what sets All Out Blitz apart. We want you to cover the team yourself - go to practices, call in to press conferences, interview players and cover games. Then report back online as extensively as possible - in words, photos, audio, video - whatever you can. Our target audience consists of people like you who can't get enough coverage of their favorite team and want to know anything and everything about it.
At this time, these are part-time volunteer positions, but we hope the experience of working for a professional sports Web site and the excitement of covering an NFL team are enticing enough to make you want to join in.
